The media giant will be entering the New Year with great optimism.

The media giant will be entering the New Year with great optimism.

On Sunday, December 14, during the broadcast of its two-part Love, Joy, Hope 2025 Christmas Special, ABS-CBN Studios presented the line-up of shows that will grace Kapamilya platforms in 2026.

Foremost on the list are the ongoing primetime productions, namely FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, Roja, and What Lies Beneath, as well variety and reality programs It’s Showtime, ASAP, and Your Face Sounds Familiar.

In the game show genre, the network is serving a double dose of comebacking beloved formats, Kapamilya Deal Or No Deal and Minute To Win It, which will be both hosted by the Pambasang Host himself, Luis Manzano.

The country’s longest-running drama anthology Maalaala Mo Kaya will also have another installment of fresh episodes in 2026.

The slate of ABS-CBN series next year also has a running theme of first-time partnerships. The list is led by the still-untitled action drama starring Richard Gutierrez and Gerald Anderson, the romantic-drama Love Is Never Gone with Joshua Garcia and Ivana Alawi, and Someone, Someday with Kathryn Bernardo, James Reid, and Maja Salvador.

Streaming platform iWant, which only rebranded last July, will also begin to offer more microdramas as part of its library of content.

The announcement of the line-up of shows come as there is growing uncertainty surrounding the future of the company’s shows on free-to-air station TV5.

At present, nothing has been confirmed yet regarding the status of their agreement, which has been terminated by the Kapatid network following a dispute in the remittance of revenues.

Despite that, ABS-CBN shows still air on the station as of this writing, as well as on the Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, ALLTV (for Jeepney TV, TV Patrol, and Magandang Buhay), and GMA (for It’s Showtime and Pinoy Big Brother), among other platforms.
