Marking the television comeback of Willie Revillame.
Last Wednesday, December 3, Cignal TV officially began beaming to its over four million subscribers across the country the new Wil TV on channel 10.
The said station was created after a partnership was forged between the satellite pay television platform, sister production company MQuest Ventures, Inc., and veteran TV host-producer Willie Revillame.
“We’re actually going to help Kuya Wil build his own channel on Cignal, Wil TV. We will assign a very premium position which is Channel 10. And hopefully, mag-expand po beyond Cignal ‘yung partnership namin,” said Mediaquest President and CEO Jane Basas during the contract signing event last November 28.
The said channel, according to Revillame himself, will be anchored by three programs, with the first being the flagship game show Wilyonaryo.
This program will take cues from his prior shows, especially Wowowin, as the Spin-A-Wil and the phone-in segments are expected to be incorporated into the new show.
In additon, there will also be a new portion called Lucky Pick, which has secured registration from both the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
According to the latest teasers, Wilyonaryo will be launching on Sunday, December 21, and is slated to air from Monday to Sunday.
Meanwhile, also said to be part of the programming grid is a public service show tentatively titled Willingly Yours.
The TV host-producer will also reportedly tap the Department of Education for an educational strand, which he says would be aimed at “instilling good values” on children.
The premiere dates for the other two shows are still kept under wraps, as of writing.
Wilyonaryo, and Wil TV in general, will mark Willie Revillame’s TV comeback after he went on hiatus since February to run for Senator at the 2025 midterm polls, a bid that he lost.
During that time, he was hosting his weekday variety show Wil To Win, which only ran for ten months from July 2024 until its cancelation in May 2025.
