In a press statement, flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) announced the launch of a new twice-weekly flight service that will connect Manila and Koror, Palau.
The new route, envisioned to strengthen PAL’s presence in the Pacific region, will provide seamless air connectivity from major Asian and select Philippine cities to Palau through the airline’s hub at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) starting March 29, 2026.
Koror is the gateway to Palau’s extraordinary marine attractions, boasting vibrant dive sites, crystal-clear lagoons, and thriving coral reefs.
“Its proximity and ease of access position Palau as an attractive addition to PAL’s network, reinforcing its commitment to expanding routes that deliver unique experiences and drive tourism growth,” the flag carrier noted.
Flights from Manila are scheduled to depart every Wednesday and Sunday at 10:15 pm and arrive in Palau (Koror) at 2:00 am (local time).
Meanwhile, return flights from Palau (Koror) to Manila will operate on Mondays and Thursdays, taking off at 3:10 am (local time) and landing in Manila at 4:55 am.
This service will be operated by PAL’s 199-seater dual-class Airbus A321ceo.
“Creating flights to this Pacific island will stimulate tourism travel among beach lovers and the diving community,” said PAL President Richard Nuttall. “Travelers can expect world-class service on board their flights combined with Philippine Airlines’ renowned Filipino heartfelt care.”
To mark this milestone, PAL said that it will ne offering special introductory fares starting at USD 499 roundtrip economy base fare and USD 1,239 roundtrip business class base fare until December 18, for travel period beginning March 29, 2026 and beyond.
Moreover, this new route will also complement PAL’s existing Western Pacific service to Guam, further enhancing travel opportunities for leisure and business passengers across the region.
