It was her first solo guesting, more so for an international crowd.
On Sunday, November 30, Aiah Arceta, a member of the Nation’s Girl Group BINI, flew to Bangkok, Thailand for a special show.
The P-pop star is among the guests for the B New Era birthday concert of Thai actress-performer Becky Armstrong, which took place at the Queen Sirikit Convention Center.
Aiah immediately wowed the crowd with her explosive entrance with a rendition of Christina Aguilera’s song Fighter with Becky.
During the ment after the performance, the 23-year-old was asked about how she ended up doing the collaboration with the Thai star
The BINI member shared that when she was fitst approached about doing the act, she immediately approved it and told, “It was an easy yes [and] it’s actually the first time that I’m doing a solo performance because I’m part of a girl group called BINI from the Philippines.”
She continued, “So, this is the very first time I solo guested outside the Philippines. And I’m happy and grateful to do it for Becky, especially that it’s for (her) birthday!“
This appearance is made extra special by the fact that Aiah, along with other members of BINI, just staged their grand BINIfied “year-end party” at the Philippine Arena the night before, on Saturday, November 29.
According to Becky’s personal account of how they met during a livestream in 2024, she shared that she knew Aiah through a fancam posted on TikTok. Soon after that, the Thai star followed the P-pop idol on Instagram, which the latter reciprocated.
This led to their friendship, with Becky having also met Aiah’s other friends and family later on.
