Telling the heartfelt story about how friendship can change the course of history, and how time and fate remind us to cherish those who once helped shape our lives.

Telling the heartfelt story about how friendship can change the course of history, and how time and fate remind us to cherish those who once helped shape our lives.

Finding Santos is a 2025 film where romance meets comedy—and where cultural resonance and the bonds it creates find permanence through cinema.

Woojin, portrayed by Theo Jang from Singles Inferno, travels to the Philippines to find a Filipino veteran who once saved his grandmother’s life during the Korean War—a final wish made by his dying grandmother.

At the start of his journey, he crosses paths with Gabby (played by Maegan Gabrielle Medina of YGIG), one of his devoted fans.

Along with their closest friends, they set out on a heartfelt adventure that leads them to rediscover not only the past but also themselves along the way.

Behind this visual narrative is a collaborative production team composed of both Filipino and Korean creatives, working together to bring this story of friendship and history to life.

The production is helmed by Son Hyeonwoo, director of Finding Santos, alongside Geong Seong Han, the Executive Director and Producer, with the support of co-producer GV Entertainment Production.

Driven by a shared passion to create a medium that mirrors real life, the production team worked seamlessly together through every stage—from pre-production to post-production.

The Filipino members of the team had the honor of collaborating with their Korean counterparts, who traveled to the Philippines to take part in bringing this film to life.

In addition, the cast grew closer during their table reading sessions (held prior to principal photography), which helped strengthen their on-screen chemistry and build genuine bonds throughout the production process.

Throughout the production journey, the cast and crew encountered a series of challenges. Many exterior scenes were filmed under the hot—and often unpredictable—weather conditions of Manila, Pampanga, and Aurora.

Additionally, a language barrier existed between the Filipino and Korean teams. Despite these obstacles, the cast remained eager to deliver their best performances and stayed optimistic until the very end.

Thanks to the warmth and hospitality of the Filipino crew, combined with the Korean team’s discipline, professionalism, and meticulous attention to detail, the production fostered an environment of true camaraderie.

Working side by side, everyone contributed to bringing the film to life—showcasing not only their shared dedication but also the remarkable spirit of teamwork that defines Finding Santos.

Moreover, the cinematic process behind this romantic-comedy—driven by passion and strengthened by the camaraderie formed during production—captures the film’s true essence: two cultures beautifully bridged by honor and friendship.

Catch Finding Santos in cinemas and let’s celebrate the beauty of honor and companionship this November 19.
