Amid the consecutive calamities that struck the country.

According to Presidential Communications Office (PCO) Undersecretary and Palace Press Officer Claire Castro on Wednesday, President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. abd issued a reminder to government agencies in light of the country being hit by devastating natural calamities recently.

In addition, the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) echoed the President’s reminder.

Ilang araw bago mag-Pasko, pinaalalahanan ni Pangulong Marcos Jr. at ng Department of Budget and Management sa pangunguna ni Secretary Amenah Pangandaman, ang lahat ng ahensya ng pamahalaan na gawing simple at makabuluhan ang Christmas at year-end celebrations,” said Castro.

The said reminder is also in line with the administration’s solidarity with Filipinos, who faced challenges due to a series of natural disasters in recent months.

The list include earthquakes in the Visayas and Mindanao last September and October, as well as Typhoon Tino and Uwan that have affected several areas of the country.
