Fans all over the world can now enjoy the league in real-time.
In a social media post, broadcast network One Sports announced that matches of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) will now be streamed live on its official YouTube channel.
In addition, it will be available for all audiences worldwide, as there are no geoblocking or any other restrictions.
“Good news for basketball enthusiasts! Fans can now enjoy watching ALL PBA games LIVE on the One Sports YouTube channel with no delays, available worldwide with no geolock restictions,” the post’s caption read.
The live streaming service is available every Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday—days when there are scheduled games of Asia’s oldest professional basketball league.
Moreover, it also makes the PBA, which is now on its momentous 50th anniversary, much accessible online, as it was only previously available via the RPTV and PBA Rush streams of Cignal Play, as well as the Pilipinas Live app.
In spite of this announcement, free-to-air viewers can still continue getting their fix of hoop action from the Filipino league via RPTV, a channel that is affiliated with TV5 and One Sports.
