She is now a certified Kapatid.
On Thursday, October 23, Gen Z superstar Andrea Brillantes marked a new chapter in her career after formally inking her contract with MQuest Ventures, a company under the MVP Group of Manny Pangilinan.
Present during the ceremony held at the PLDT building in Makati City were Brilliantes and Pangilinan, along with Mediaquest President and CEO Jane Basas, Cignal TV executives Sienna Olaso and Jeffrey Remigio, and the new Kapatid star’s manager, Shirley Kuan.
In her interview with MJ Marfori on TV5’s ‘Frontline Pilipinas,’ Blythe, the 22-year-old actress’s real name, shared her excitement about kickstarting her journey with a new company.
“S’yempre, I’m really grateful to be here… another family. And, I’m really excited for what’s to come,” said Brillantes.
When asked about her upcoming projects, she replied, “Abangan nila!“
Although, she confirmed her plans to concentrate on doing movies, telling that she wants to explore beyond doing teleseryes. In addition, the young actress also noted that she is open to doing action, romance, and comedy films.
Andrea also thanked her fans, Brilliants, for their continued support to her as she marks another chapter in her career.
The Gen Z superstar is not a stranger to the Kapatid network. During her days as a child actress, she had done projects with TV5 such as the fantasy-drama anthology program ‘Pidol’s Wonderland’ with the late Comedy King, Dolphy.
Aside from that, her programs with her former home studio, ABS-CBN, like ‘Huwag Kang Mangamba,’ ‘Senior High,’ ‘High Street,’ and most recently, ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’ were aired by the station.
