Princess Aliyah, Miguel Vergara named ‘PBB Collab 2.0’ housemates

They are joining the reality show.

On Wednesday, October 22, the next pair of housemates that will join the upcoming ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab 2.0′ were exclusively revealed on GMA’s flagship newscast ’24 Oras.’

First to be named was Kapuso teen actress-singer Princess Aliyah, who at 16 years old, had already portrayed various roles in GMA drama series like ‘My Special Tatay,’ ‘Onanay,’ and ‘Royal Blood.’

Princess was also part of the movie ‘Magikland’ and has a theatrical expetience as a cast member of the London West End production of ‘The Sound of Music.’

In her interview with Nelson Canlas, the Sparkle artist revealed that she is looking forward to getting close with the housemates and overcome her awkwardness with men, noting that it will be a new experience for her as she has been homeschooled since she was young.

Meanwhile, from Star Magic is another former child star, Miguel Vergara. He was previously seen in the movie ‘One More Try,’ where he won the Best Child Actor award in the 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival and 2013 FAMAS Awards.

He was also part of ABS-CBN teleserye like ‘Tubig at Langis,’ ‘Nang Ngumiti Ang Langit,’ ‘Lavender Fields,’ and most recently, ‘What Lies Beneath.’

Vergara told Canlas that he was apprehensive about joining ‘PBB’ at first, given his reserved personality. But he later ultimately decided to participate and is now looking forward to the new experience.

Aside from Princess and Miguel, already revealed in the prior edition of the Kapuso newscast are two other housemates, Kapuso teen actress Sofia Pablo and new Kapamilya actor Joaquin Arce.

‘Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab 2.0’ will begin airing on Saturday, October 25 at 6:05 pm on GMA.
