Less than two weeks before the squad’s comeback to the local concert scene.
On Sunday, September 21, K-pop stars Jihyo and Tzuyu, members of the popular group TWICE, headlined an event in the Philippines.
The said gala was hosted by skincare brand Pond’s, where the two personalities currently serve as brand’s ambassadors.
Seen in photos at the said affair were the two, alongside Filipina TV and film actress Belle Mariano, who also concurrently endorses that brand.
Because of this event, both Jihyo and Tzuyu headed to the country weeks ahead of the TWICE’s seven other members.
The entire group will be holding their concert at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan on October 4, 2025, which is part of their current ‘This Is For’ world tour.
That program, itself, will serve as the return of TWICE as a nine-member team to the Philippines after last visiting for a fan meeting at the Mall of Asia Arena in June 2024.
The group was assembled as a team after competing in the survival-reality show ‘Sixteen’ in October 2015. They went on to become a force in K-pop’s third generation, thanks to their successive hit singles ‘Like Ooh-ahh,’ ‘Cheer Up,’ ‘TT,’ ‘LIKEY,’ ‘Heartshaker,’ and ‘Yes Or Yes,’ among many others.
