AHOF’s Chih En goes on temporary hiatus due to health condition

The group will be promoting as an eight-member line-up for the time being.

In a statement issued last Tuesday, September 16, Korean management company F&F Entertainment disclosed that AHOF member Chih En will be temporarily going on hiatus.

The company explained that his absence was due to a medical advice from professionals, where he was told to suspend all activities and prioritize absolute rest and recovery.

Although the artist himself expressed a strong desire to continue his activities and keep his promise to fans, we have decided that his health must come first, and that he should focus on his recovery for the time being,” the statement, which was translated by entertainment website Soompi, read.

Hence, in the following weeks, AHOF will continue as an eight-member group consisting of Steven, Seo Jeongwoo, Cha Woongki, Zhang Shuaibo, Park Han, JL, Park Juwon, and Daisuke.

We apologize for any concern caused by this sudden news, and we will do our utmost to ensure that Chih En recovers quickly and can greet fans again with a bright and healthy appearance,” F&F’s statement ended.

AHOF debuted last July with their chart-topping debut single ‘Rendezvous’ and their first mini-album entitled ‘Who We Are’.

In late August, the band visited the Philippines for the first time, where they held their sold-out fan con at the Araneta Coliseum and a fansign event inside a mall in Ortigas, Quezon City.
