They are the latest members to begin service.

SEVENTEEN members Hoshi and Woozi have begun their respective mandatory military service terms.

Hoshi first entered last Monday, September 15, with Woozi conscripted the following day, September 16.

Following the weeks-long basic military training, both stars are expected to begin serving as active-duty service and will be discharged in March 2027.

For CARATs, the two will continue to be visible throughout the 18-month period as they will be part of various content that have been filmed prior to their enlistment.

Following the start of their military service, they will not be able to participate in SEVENTEEN’s group activities. However, they will continue to stay connected with CARAT through a variety of pre-recorded content,” Pledis Entertainment said in its statement last July, as translated by Soompi.

The two, also known as the duo Hoshi × Woozi, are the latest members to enter the military service. Jeonghan first joined in late 2024, which was followed by Wonwoo in April 2025.

Last March, they debuted as the group’s third spinoff of the group after BSS–which also includes Hoshi, along with Seungkwan and DK—and JxW of Jeonghan and Wonwoo. That month, they dropped their first single entitled ‘Beam’.
