Making their debut performance on the international TV show.
On Sunday, September 7, BGYO, hailed as the Aces of P-pop, will grace the Thai television music-variety show ‘Thailand Music Countdown’.
The quintet—composed of Gelo, Akira, JL, Mikki, and Nate—are set to perform their newest single titled ‘Headlines,’ which was dropped last August 21.
In a social media post, the program uploaded the video invite of the Filipino boy group, the boys introduced themselves individually to both local viewers, as well as to their fans in the Philippines and other parts of the world.
Also part of the line-up of personalities featured in the same episode are Thai music acts QViNT, Aun Jessada, Zamzenlazer, PERSES, and Nut Supanut.
The show is scheduled to air on Thai television network Channel 3 at 4:45 pm (5:45 pm, Manila time), while its YouTube live will stream from 4:00 pm (5:00 pm, Manila time).
The appearance on the said TV show happens two weeks after BGYO joined the Summer Sonic 2025 Festival in Bangkok last August 23. They were the first and only Filipino group to perform.
The band was soft-launched in 2020 as SHA Boys, having been formed through the Star Hunt Academy of ABS-CBN prior to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The following year, in January 2021, BGYO made its official debut with the release of their first single, ‘The Light’.
Since then, they have dropped songs like ‘He’s Into Her’, ‘When I’m With You’, ‘The Baddest’, ‘Tumitigil Ang Mundo’, ‘Patintero’, ‘Divine,’ and ‘All These Ladies’.
