Gerald Anderson to direct own series ‘Sins Of The Father’

Another Kapamilya leading man is set to take on the crucial role of being the director of his own series.

He is none other than Gerald Anderson, who currently topbills the ongoing primetime drama-action series ‘Sins Of The Father’ as the lead character Samuel Trinidad.

In a social media post of the ABS-CBN entertainment unit JRB Creative Production, it shared some snapshots from the meeting led by the 35-year-old star together with the show’s creatives.

‘Sins Of The Father’ premiered on ABS-CBN’s primetime block last June and marked Gerald’s teleserye comeback after more than two years.

He was last seen in ‘A Family Affair,’ with Ivana Alawi, Sam Milby, Jake Ejercito, and Jameson Blake in 2022.

In the new ABS-CBN drama, Gerald joined forces with his two former leading ladies, Jessy Mendiola-Manzano and Shaina Magdayao.

He previously worked with Jessy in ‘Budoy’ in 2011, while Shaina was his partner in ‘Nathaniel’ that aired in 2015.

Aside from them, also part of ‘Sins Of The Father’ are JC De Vera, Tirso Cruz III, Lotlot de Leon, RK Bagatsing, Soliman Cruz, Joko Diaz, Nico Antonio, Jerald Napoles, Francine Diaz, and Seth Fedelin.

John Arcilla also made a special appearance in the pilot week.
