On Sunday, July 27, ABS-CBN’s weekend quiz show ‘Rainbow Rumble,’ hosted by Luis Manzano and Negi, tapped a special group of contestants to grace its episode.
For the first time ever, 5 participants of the recently-concluded reality program ‘Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition’ joined the Kapamilya production.
They were the Kapuso stars, led by the other half of winning pair ‘BreKa’—Mika Salamanca, 3rd Big Placer Charlie Fleming, 4th Big Placer AZ Martinez, along with Dustin Yu and Michael Sager.
The five players tested their wits by answering questions from a set of 50, with the match being a close fight between Mika and Michael until the very end.
However, with her competitive spirit, Mika was able to once again conquer and win the game.
In the jackpot round, where the grand prize of PHP 1 million was at stake, the artist-influencer was one cube away from becoming the next ‘Rainbow Rumble Master,’ but the time ran out as she continued to attempt completing the six unique colors required to win.
‘PBB Celebrity Collab Edition’ concluded its 17-week run last July 5, which was also the very first edition of the show in its 20-year history to be aired entirely on ABS-CBN’s erstwhile rival network GMA.
During the Big Night, it was also revealed that a second collaboration between the two media giants will happen later this 2025, with further details set to be shared in due course.
Meanwhile, fans of the edition will be able to meet their favorites in person as this batch of ‘PBB’ will gather anew for ‘The Big Collove’ concert on Sunday, August 10, 2025 at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
