On Wednesday, July 9, K-pop star Wonho shared a nearly two-minute long clip where he took on one of the characters of the hit Netflix animated series ‘Kpop Demon Hunters.’
The singer-songwriter portrayed Abby Saja, a member of the group Saja Boys and is known for his abs and himbo personality, and showed full commitment to his role.
The idol dyed his hair, wore a yellow bonnet and the green shirt that resembled the original version.
Another highlight of the clip was when also revealed his well-maintained physique while performing the viral sound track entitled ‘Soda Pop’.
That did not end there, as he transitioned to the demon form of Saja as he wore the traditional attire and did a rendition of the song ‘Your Idol’.
Wonho’s cover has since received over 400,000 views on YouTube, ranking 17th in the Trending Now tab in the Philippines.
The 32-year-old musician debuted in 2015 as a member of the group MONSTA X, but departed the team in 2019 following a controversy.
He later returned as a soloist under Highline Entertainment in 2020 and released his first extended play, ‘Love Synonym Pt. 1: Right For Me,’ that same year.
Recently, in June, he dropped the single ‘Better Than Me,’ which is a pre-release track off his first full-length album.
