Walang Pasok: Several LGUs suspend classes on Wednesday, July 9, 2025

The rainy weather has prompted several LGUs to cancel classes or order the shift to alternative learning modes.

The rainy weather has prompted several LGUs to cancel classes or order the shift to alternative learning modes.

Due to inclement weather conditions, several local government units have issued the following advisories on Wednesday, July 9, 2025.

For cities and towns that have suspended face-to-face classes, the shift to modular or online class set-up will be implemented.

  • NO CLASSES IN ALL LEVELS (public and private)
  • Laurel, Batangas
  • Alfonso, Cavite
  • Amadeo, Cavite
  • Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo, Cavite
  • Kawit, Cavite
  • Mendez-Nuñez, Cavite
  • NO FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES IN ALL LEVELS (public and private)
  • Las Piñas City
  • Muntinlupa City (public schools only, private schools to issue advisory based on their own discretion)
  • Gen. Trias City, Cavite
  • Naic, Cavite
  • Tagaytay City, Cavite
  • Tanza, Cavite
  • Trece Martires City, Cavite
  • Biñan City, Laguna
  • NO CLASSES FROM PRESCHOOL TO SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL (public and private)
  • Indang, Cavite

According to the weather outlook provided by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), the Southwest Monsoon (Hanging Habagat) will persist.

It will bring cloudy skies wiyh scattered rains and thunderstorms over the western sections of Luzon and Visayas, while Mindanao will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
