The rainy weather has prompted several LGUs to cancel classes or order the shift to alternative learning modes.
Due to inclement weather conditions, several local government units have issued the following advisories on Wednesday, July 9, 2025.
For cities and towns that have suspended face-to-face classes, the shift to modular or online class set-up will be implemented.

According to the weather outlook provided by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), the Southwest Monsoon (Hanging Habagat) will persist.
It will bring cloudy skies wiyh scattered rains and thunderstorms over the western sections of Luzon and Visayas, while Mindanao will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
