They are heading straight to the grand finale.
On Monday, June 23, reality show ‘Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab’ officially announced the first duo that will be part of the Big 4 this season.
Taking their spot with a total of 11 points, combined from votes made by the housemates themselves and the returning evictees, who took the role of House Challengers, are Kapamilya content creator Esnyr Ranollo and Kapuso teen star Charlie Fleming.
After being informed of the news, the certified breadwinners were visibly emotional as they took their rightful spot as the first tandem to stand on one of the Big 4 platforms.
When asked about their thoughts about getting the spot, Charlie shared, “Alam kong kababalik ko lang the other month [as voted] by the people outside. And to be chosen by the housemates, knowing that not only the people in my family outside… are supporting me and Esnyr today, is heartwarming po talaga.”
She added that being part of the final four duos that will have the chance to become the first duo winners in the local franchise’s history is a “miracle.”
“Naniniwala pa rin po talaga ako kay Charlie at sa mga nilalaban po namin dito sa bahay. Of course, ito po ‘yung laban para sa mga taga-Davao del Sur [at] taga-Cagayan de Oro… para sa mga taga-Mindanao,” Esnyr expressed.
The Kapamilya personality also proudly declared that a gay housemate made it to the Big 4.
Their inclusion to the Big 4 comes days after the heated challenge conducted with the help of the ex-housemates, which included a ‘Tapatan’ where they faced-off to express their sentiments on one another.
The Big Night of ‘PBB Celebrity Collab’ is set to happen on Saturday, July 5.
