Tagalized ‘Lovely Runner’ on GMA to feature AHOF JL’s single ‘Alon’

As he is set to make his K-pop debut next month.

In new TV plugs for the upcoming Tagalized-dubbed version of the hit 2024 Korean drama series ‘Lovely Runner’ on GMA, the official sound track was revealed.

Viewers are set to hear the single ‘Alon,’ performed and co-composed by Filipino idol JL Gaspar, which was released last June 6.

Dubbed as an “emotional pop anthem,” the song fits with the theme of the kilig-drama that resonated with audiences around the world.

The Kapuso premiere of the dubbed version will be on Monday, May 23 at 5:10 pm.

‘Alon’ also serves as the 21-year-old singer-performer’s gift to his fans before starting a new chapter in his journey as musician, as he set to make his debut a member of the K-pop group AHOF in July.

Although the song was recorded prior to his participation in the South Korean survival program ‘Universe League,’ where he finished as the number 1 by the end of the show.

The music video for ‘Alon’ has since reached over 200,000 views on YouTube since it was uploaded on June 9.

Prior to his debut, JL returned to Manila last Saturday, June 14, where he was formally appointed as the ambassador of I Like It Korea Milk – Philippines campaign of the Korea Dairy Industry Association (KDIA).

During which, he teased AHOF’s first few activities, including their first stage as a team at the 2025 My KFESTA on Thursday, June 19.

Meanwhile, teasers have also begun to be posted regarding the nine-member band’s first mini-album, ‘Who We Are.’
