A collaboration many have waited to happen.
On Thursday, May 29 (Seoul time), the official music video for Korean singer IU’s newest single, ‘A Beautful Person,’ was officially released.
The over three-minute-long video follows a tale between two acquaintances from childhood up to their adulthood, where the man has been getting all the attention and love from the people around him.
This made the girl, who is IU’s point-of-view, to confess to herself that as everyone loves him, she also does, too.
After a heartbreak, the man decided to conceal himself inside a mask where he met the girl who also wore the same.
The video ends with a poignant moment between both leads, where they decided to take off their masks and meet each other eye-to-eye.
There, it was revealed that the “beautiful person” in the video is none other than the “Face Genius” himself, ASTRO member Cha Eun Woo.
This video marks their reunion after previously collaborating for a campaign of jewelry brand Chaumet, where netizens and fans mutually praised their chemistry in the photos.
‘A Beautiful Person’ is part of ‘A Flower Bookmark 3’, which was released on Tuesday, May 27.
This new album comes over a year after her last comeback, which happened in February 2024, with the mini album titled ‘The Winning‘.
Additionally, this also comes right after IU’s successful drama comeback through the popular series ‘When Life Gives You Tangerines,’ where she acted alongside the likes of Park Bo Gum and Kim Seon Ho.
