Further exciting ‘Encantadiks’ that have waited long for this series.
On Friday, May 23, GMA Network officially announced the premiere date for the upcoming telefantasya series, ‘Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre.’
According to the Kapuso network, the spin-off sequel of the beloved original franchise will finally air its pilot telecast on Monday, June 16 on GMA.
In the newly-released teaser, fans and viewers wete given additional details about Rhian Ramos’ Kera Mitena, who was born as the cursed twin of Bathalumang Cassiopeia and was thrown out to the snow kingdom outside of the titular world where she rose to become its queen.
Meanwhile, the main plot will also revolve around Sang’gre Terra, to be portrayed by Bianca Umali, who will have to live outside of Encantadia due to the reign of the evil queen.
Starring alongside her are three other new-generation Sang’gres, Faith Da Silva as Flammara, Kelvin Miranda as Adamus, and Angel Guardian as Deia.
‘Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre’ is being premiered in conjunction with both the 75th anniversary of GMA Network and the two decades since the launch of the ‘Encantadia’ franchise in 2005.
It is also the continuation of the 2016 requel series, which was topbilled by Kylie Padilla, Glaiza de Castro, Gabbi Garcia, and Sanya Lopez, who are expected to reprise their roles as Amihan, Pirena, Alena, and Danaya, respectively in the upcoming installment of the telefantasya..
‘Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre’ will replace ‘Lolong: Pangil Ng Maynila,’ which will air its finale episode on June 13.
