G-Dragon holds ‘Ubermensch’ at Philippine Arena

Back in the country after almost a decade.

Korean superstar G-Dragon, member of the legendary all-male group BigBang, will be holding his solo ‘Ubermensch‘ concert in the Philippines.

Set to take place at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan on Saturday, May 17, 2025, it is part of his ongoing tour around Asia.

Also part of ‘Ubermensch‘ are the cities of Tokyo, Osaka, Macau, Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, and Hong Kong, and Seoul.

This evening’s show also marks GD’s return to the local concert scene after last visiting the country in September 2017 for his previous ‘Act III: M.O.T.T.E.‘ tour.

G-Dragon is one of the five original members of the legendary boy band BigBang, which debuted in 2006.

The group known for their smash hit songs like ‘Haru Haru,’ ‘Lies,’ ‘Fantastic Baby,’ and ‘Bang Bang Bang,’ and ‘FXXK IT,’ among others.

He later formed a sub-unit with fellow band member Taeyang, called GD X Taeyang, and through which, released the song ‘Good Boy’ in 2014.

GD & TOP was his other duo that was established woyh former BigBang member T.O.P. in 2010.

G-Dragon also thrives as a soloist, having released the likes of ‘Heartbreaker,’ ‘Crooked,’ ‘Coup d’Etat,’ and ‘Who, You?’ over the years.

In October 2024, he made his first solo comeback in seven years after dropping his new single titled ‘Power’. It is one of the tracks of the tour’s namesake album, ‘Übermensch,’ which was dropped last February 2025.
