The only female group to be part of the list.
In the article published by Forbes Asia on Wednesday, May 14, it named this year’s 30 Under 30 across 10 categories that span business, food, arts, and entertainment.
For the Entertainment & Sports list, the publication included the phenomenal Filipina pop group BINI, which is the sole all-female band in its lineup.
Cited in the official article on the Forbes website are the achievements of the group thus far, led by their major feat as the first Filipino act to hold a sold-out concert at the Philippine Arena, Best Asia Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards, Billboard K Power 100’s Voices of Asia award, and their over 1 billion streams on Spotify.
On top of those were the cause of their breakthrough, the viral sensations that were ‘Pantropiko‘ and ‘Salamin, Salamin,’ which captivated fans and new listeners alike.
BINI members also shared their hardships before achieving the groundbreaking success, starting off from their humble start as trainees and their early years after debuting.
The 8-member group made its debut in 2021 and is composed of Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena.
“At first, we were ignored, but then we noticed more public interest when we posted on social media” Mikha reflected on how their online engagement helped drum up interest for the team.
Aside from BINI, also included in the 2025 Entertainment & Sports category of Forbes’ ‘30 Under 30 Asia‘ is fellow Filipino, 20-year-old chess grandmaster Daniel Quizon.
Joining them are the likes of South Korean boy band Stray Kids, idol-actor Cha Eunwoo of ASTRO, and actress Go Min Si, along with Japanese hitmaker Imase, and gymnast Shinnosuke Oka, ‘Bridgerton’ star Ha Yerin, and Thai actor Krit Amnuaydechkorn.
Meanwhile, in other categories, 12 more Filipino personalities were named, with food sustainability advocate Anna Beatriz Suavengco, fintech entrepreneur Raya Buensuceso, venture capitalist Ysabel Chua, Dr. Jasper Rjby Vijar, and Renren Galeno who is an illustrator.
