ABS-CBN (Halalan 2025)

According to the Kapamilya network, ABS-CBN News’ ‘Halalan 2025 Marathon Coverage‘ will begin at 5:00 am, hours before the official opening of polling precincts nationwide, and will be on the air until the next day, May 13, at 10:00 am.
Leading the special coverage are ‘TV Patrol‘ anchors Noli “Kabayan” de Castro, Karen Davila, Bernadette Sembrano, and Alvin Elchico.
Chief of Reporters Jeff Canoy, ‘TV Patrol Weekend‘ casters Zen Hernandez and Adrian Ayalin, and ANC’s Tony Velasquez, Karmina Constantino, Ron Cruz, and Rico Hizon are also confirmed for the ABS-CBN special.
TJ Manotoc, Stanley Palisada, Denice Dinsay, Michelle Ong, and Migs Bustos will deliver special features and reports as part of the coverage, as per the press release.
The multi-platform coverage will be aired live across free-to-air stations of A2Z and ALLTV, pay television via the Kapamilya Channel and ANC, and online through the ABS-CBN News YouTube channel.
Expected to be be heard anew after fifteen years is the official coverage theme song, ‘Ako Ang Simula,’ which was recently revived by Kapamilya singers Maki, Angela Ken, ‘The Voice USA Season 26‘ champion Sofronio Vasquez, ‘Tawag Ng Tanghalan Season 8‘ winner Carmelle Colladp, and P-pop groups BGYO and Wrive.
Entertainment programs will also be aired bg ABS-CBN on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, and A2Z on election day itself.
Noontime program ‘It’s Showtime’ will continue to air as usual at 12:00 noon in these platforms and GMA Network.
Primetime top-raters ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,’ ‘Incognito,’ and ‘Saving Grace: The Untold Story‘ will also drop new episodes from 8:00 pm to 10:15 pm, with the ‘Halalan 2025‘ coverage expected to resume soon after the shows.
TV5 and One News (Bilang Pilipino 2025)
Like its media peers, MediaQuest properties TV5 and One News will also be offering its own special coverage of the 2025 elections.
Its ‘Bilang Pilipino 2025‘ marathon special will “provide 31 hours of sustained coverage with the best analysis from a powerhouse team,” the Kapatid network disclosed.
The group will be led by some of the country’s award-winning journalists, including Ted Failon, Ces Drilon, Julius Babao, Cheryl Cosim, Ed Lingao, Jiggy Manicad, and Gretchen Ho.
These broadcasters will work with data experts to discuss key races and provide insightful context to the election results.
Extensive live on-the-ground reporting from 30 strategic locations across the country are also incorporated into the program.

Through a live elections dashboard, journalists and producers can monitor and track trending narratives, analyze candidate mentions, and pinpoint the platforms fueling the most online buzz—with a particular focus on the senatorial race.
TV5 is set to go live at 4:00 am, with the Filipino-language coverage set to be simulcast on RPTV, One PH, True TV, and True FM, as well as News5’s digital accounts.
Meanwhile, pay TV English-language channel One News also has its own dedicated coverage, which will then begin at 5:00 am.
GMA Network (Eleksyon 2025)
The Kapuso network promises to deliver “the biggest, most-comprehensive, and most-trusted election coverage” to its over 38 million TV viewers and 93 million aggregated social media followers.
The multi-platform coverage of the network will be fronted by its own legion of big names in Philippine news broadcasting, led by Mel Tiangco, Vicky Morales, Arnold Clavio, Emil Sumangil, Ivan Mayrina, Pia Arcangel, and Atom Araullo.
Also part of the slate are Howie Severino, Kara David, Raffy Tima, Connie Sison, Susan Enriquez, Sandra Aguinaldo, Maki Pulido, and Mariz Umali.
Together with 800 members of GMA Integrated News on TV, radio, and online, the group will also be teaming up with its field reporters from GMA Regional TV and the Super Radyo and Barangay FM networks nationwide.
‘Eleksyon 2025‘ will begin on May 12 at 4:00 am, with ‘Unang Bugso‘ just as the polling precinct prepare to open for the first batch of voters in the morning.
The special programming will continue until 12:00 noon on GMA-7, as the coverage takes a pause and the marathon coverage continues on the GTV channel.
The flagship Kapuso channel will be airing its regular line-up of afternoon shows from 12:00 noon to 5:40 pm.
After which, ‘Eleksyon 2025‘ resumes and airs into the special editions of “24 Oras” and ‘Saksi‘ and will continue to run overnight until 12:00 noon on Tuesday, May 13.
Speaking of GTV, the channel will carry simulcasts of the GMA coverage, on top of special broadcasts of ‘Dobol B TV,’ ‘Balitanghali,’ and ‘State of the Nation.’
Bilyonaryo News Channel (Your Voice 2025)
The fledgling news station is also doing its a marathon coverage with its sibling AM radio station, DWAR Abante Radyo 1494.
Korina Sanchez-Roxas, Pinky Webb, and Rey Langit will lead ‘Your Voice 2025: The Elections Agenda,‘ which aims to combine the traditional media coverage with the speed of social media, with on-the-ground reports also available on BNC and DWAR’s social media pages.
Newswatch Plus / Aliw 23 (Vote Watch 2025)
Another newly-formed organization, Newswatch Plus, will also be delivering updates about the midterm polls through its own ‘Vote Watch 2025‘ special coverage.
It has teamed up with Aliw Channel 23 and BusinessMirror to provide a transplatform coverage encompassing online and traditional media platforms.
The partnership aims to mobilize multi-platform reporters across the country, maximizing both traditional and digital platforms to deliver clear, consistent, and contextual election coverage to the Filipino public.
Real-time updates will be posted from 5:00 am on election day, with regular updates from reporters deployed on the ground.
Special programming includes ‘Vote Watch Live‘ at 9:00 am and 12:00 noon,. and a ‘NewsWatch Now‘ special edition airing from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
