He is tasked to deliver the important letters directed to the housemates.
On Sunday, April 27, reality program ‘Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition’ officially revealed the newest houseguest of the season.
Entering the show to bond with the housemates for the next few days is ‘New Gen Matinee Idol‘ and judge of ‘Pilipinas Got Talent Season 7,’ Donny Pangilinan.
But in his special guest appearance, Donny has been tasked to serve as the “special messenger” that will deliver the letters from the loved ones of the Kapamilya and Kapuso stars living inside the house.
During the episode, hosts Bianca Gonzalez-Intal and Gabbi Garcia were also surprised about his participation, as they were intentionally left unaware about the actor being the latest houseguest.
Donny, as he was being formally welcomed by Bianca and Gabbi, shared, “Ganito pala dito. Grabe, iba ‘yung feeling! Alam mo ‘yung, sanay naman akong mag-Araneta… pero iba ‘yung kaba dito.”
“Iba ‘yung tensyon, ‘no,” Gabbi seconded his thoughts.
He also shared that his nervousness stems from the fact that it is only his first time to visit the ‘Pinoy Big Brother’ house.
Donny also wanted to know more about the other housemates, admitting that he only personally knows Esnyr Ranollo among the 14 remaining members of the batch.
“…this is an opportunity for me to get to know them, their stories. But at the same time, feeling ko mas makikilala ko ang sarili ko,” the Kapamilya star added.
The guest stint of the ‘New Gen Matinee Idol‘ comes a day after the departure of the first male duo of the season, ‘MiLi‘ of Michael Sager and Emilio Daez.
‘Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab‘ is the fourth collaboration project between ABS-CBN and GMA, with their previous partnerships being the teleserye ‘Unbreak My Heart,’ simulcast of noontime program ‘It’s Showtime,’ and the mega-blockbuster flick ‘Hello, Love, Again.‘
Meanwhile, aside from his guest appearance on the reality program, Donny Pangilinan is also seen as judge on the talent competition ‘Pilipinas Got Talent‘ and as host-performer on ‘ASAP,’ which air on Kapamilya platforms and TV5.
