On Thursday, March 27, ‘Asia’s Multimedia Star‘ Alden Richards headed to the Viva office to ink a partnership deal between his Myriad Entertainment and the film production giant.

Also at the contract signing event are executives from the Viva Group of Companies, led by Viva Communications Chairman Vic del Rosario, President and COO Vincent del Rosario, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Treasurer Tess Cruz, Senior Vice President for Content Creation Valerie del Rosario, and Viva Artists Agency President and COO Veronique del Rosario-Corpus.

In both productions, Alden will serve multiple capacities, one as a producer and another as an actor.

‘Out of Order,’ which will also be directed by the Kapuso actor himself, will see him co-star with Viva talent Heaven Peralejo for the first time. It is set to head straight to video-streaming platform Netflix.

Meanwhile in ‘Mak-Mak,’ he is set to take on the role originally portrayed by Thai superstar Mario Maurer in the 2013 film. Meanwhile, his leading lady would by Julia Barretto, who will do the part of Mai Davika Hoorne.

Outside of entertainment projects, Alden and the Viva group will also be teaming up in the food business, with the Kapuso superstar’s restaurant Concha’s set to become the newest brand under the Viva Food group.

Viva International Food and Restaurants, Inc., as it is legally known, is behind the Philippine branches of Botejyu, Paper Moon, Pepi Cubano, Yogorino, and Greyhound Café.

“I was so ecstatic and excited to learn about how Boss Vic is excited to partner with my company, not only in the entertainment industry but also in the food industry as well,” said Alden Richards.

Viva’s President and COO Vincent del Rosario reciprocated that by also sharing his excitement about the new partnership and praising Alden’s business mindset.

“Now that Alden talked about iba’t ibang opportunities na magsama kami, na-realize namin na Alden is beyond being ang actor. Ang lalim ng kanyang understanding sa negosyo, very practical siya mag-isip,” del Rosario said.
