He is officially back in town for his Filipino fans.
On Sunday, March 16, idol-actor Choi Minho, a member of popular second-generation K-pop band SHINee, will hold a solo concert in the Philippines.
Called ‘MEAN: of my first,’ it is due to take place at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City this evening.
This event marks Choi’s return to the country after almost two years, as he last visited for the staging of his ‘Best Choi’s Minho Lucky Choi’s’ fan meeting in Pasay City in 2023.
Apart from the Philippines, also included in the ‘MEAN: of my first’ tour are South Korea, Taiwan, and Macau.
Minho made his debut, along with the other members of SHINee, in May 2008. The band is known for their popular singles ‘Replay,’ ‘Ring Ding Dong,’ ‘Sherlock,’ ‘Lucifer,’ ‘View,’ ‘1 of 1,’ and ‘Tell Me What To Do,’ among others.
The band’s latest comeback was in 2023 with the release of their eighth studio album titled ‘Hard,’ which carries the lead single of the same name.
Last November 2024, Minho released his debut album titled ‘Call Back,’ composed of 10 tracks including its namesake lead single and ‘Slow Down.’
As an actor, some of the star’s most memorable projects are ‘To The Beautiful You,’ ‘Hwarang,’ and ‘The Fabulous.’
He recently starred as Nam Tae Pyeong in the JTBC drama ‘Romance in the House,’ which aired between August and September 2024.
