On Friday, March 14, Korean pop star Jisoo of the popular girl group Blackpink will hold her ‘Lights, Love, Action!’ fan meeting in the Philippines.

The said show, which marks her return to the Philippines after almost two years, happens at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City this evening.

Prior to this event, her last visit was with her fellow Blackpink members in March 2023, when they held their ‘Born Pink’ concert to the Philippine Arena in Bulacan for two consecutive nights.

Aside from the Philippines, Jisoo’s ‘Lights, Love, Action!’ tour will also have stops in Bangkok, Tokyo, Macau, Taipei, Hong Kong, and Hanoi.

This fanmeet also takes place exactly a month after her solo music comeback with the extended play ‘Amortage’ last February 14.

The said EP carries with it the lead track titled ‘Earthquake.’

Jisoo debuted in 2016 as part of the third-generation K-pop group Blackpink, along with fellow members Jennie, Lisa, and Rosé.

They became well-known in their home country and abroad, thanks to their successive hit songs ‘Whistle,’ ‘Boombayah,’ ‘Playing with Fire,’ ‘As If It’s Your Last,’ ‘Ddu-du Ddu-du,’ ‘Kill This Love,’ ‘Lovesick Girls,’ ‘Pink Venom,’ and ‘Shut Down,’ among many others.

In 2023, she dropped the single album titled ‘Me,’ which featured the viral hit song ‘Flower.’

The following year, in 2024, she established her own label named Blissoo.

Aside from music, she also has an active career in acting, having starred as Eun Young Ro in ‘Snowdrop’ in 2021 and will soon be seen in the Prime Video series ‘Newtopia’ the premiered last February 7.

Meanwhile, Blackpink is also expected to return with new music later this year, with their upcoming world tour having been announced already via the group’s official channels.
