As the playdate nears, another trailer has surfaced.
On Sunday, March 9, Star Cinema released the second trailer for the movie ‘My Love Will Make You Disappear’ starring Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino.
The director’s cut video, which also serves as the official international trailer, gives viewers another look at Kim Chiu’s Sari, who had vowed to remain single as she was persuaded into thinking that every man she love disappears.
Then appears Paulo Avelino’s Jolo, her landlord, who would later grow fond of her. The film then poses the question: “will he vanish or stay by her side?“
Heard in the second trailer is a new version of OPM singer Maki’s charttopping song ‘Dilaw,’ which was rearranged for the film.
‘MLWMYD’ marks the first big screen project of Kim and Paulo, who both previously topbilled the drama series ‘Linlang’ in 2023 and the Philippine adaptation of ‘What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim?’ in 2024.
Joining them in the film are Wilma Doesnt, Nico Antonio, Martin Escudero, Lovely Abella, Benj Manalo, and Karina Bautista.
Melai Cantiveros-Francisco also makes a special participation in the movie as the voice of Sari’s pet Cookie.
‘My Love Will Make You Disappear’ is under the direction of Chad Vidanes and produced by ABS-CBN Studios and Star Cinema.
It will hit theaters in the Philippines on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, with US and Canada screening set to start on Friday, March 28, 2025.
