ABS-CBN channels to revamp programming grids starting March 10

Kapamilya viewers will notice a major overhaul in the network’s programming in the coming week.

ABS-CBN is set to implement the realignment in its afternoon and evening blocks on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, and Kapamilya Online Live Monday, March 10.

First of, trending Prime Video series ‘Saving Grace,’ which debuted its full-length ‘The Untold Story’ teleserye version last March 3, will be airing its rewind every afternoon at 2:30 pm.

This will mark the return of new content, albeit on a one-week-delayed basis, to the Kapamilya Gold block after the end of ABS-CBN’s co-produced dramas with TV5 in January 2024.

Following that, the repeats of ‘Huwag Kang Mangamba’ and ‘Viral Scandal’ are set to respectively move to the 3:15 pm and 4:00 pm time slots effective on the said date.

The afternoon newscast ‘TV Patrol Express’ with Jeff Canoy and Denice Dinsay is also scheduled to air much earlier at 4:45 pm.

For Kapamilya Channel and A2Z viewers, the 2024 revival of ‘Goin’ Bulilit’ will air on those channels at 5:00 pm, followed by the return of the iconic Asianovela, ‘Meteor Garden,’ at 5:45 pm.

Meanwhile, Kapamilya Online Live will continue its broadcast of archived Jeepney TV content at 5:00 pm and will instead stream ‘GB’ at 5:45 pm.

In the evening, the 10:15 pm slot after the fresh episode of ‘Saving Grace: The Untold Story’ on the Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, and TV5 will be taken over by the BBC series ‘Liar,’ which will air for the first time in the Philippines.

For Kapamilya Online Live viewers, on the other hand, the web-based channel will be carrying the nightly broadcast of ‘Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition,’ which will exclusively air on free TV via GMA Network, at 10:00 pm.

As for the weekend primetime grid, the launch of ‘PBB Collab’ will also mark the temporary end of the Kapamilya Online Live broadcast of current affairs and magazine shows ‘Rated Korina’ and ‘Tao Po,’ which both air at 6:15 pm.

However, they will remain on the said time slot for viewers watching the Kapamilya Channel and A2Z.

The revamp of the Kapamilya Channel grid will also have an effect to sister news channel, ANC.

In line with the transfer of ‘TVP Express’ to 4:45 pm, the news network’s flagship afternoon newscast ‘Top Story’ will also be moving back to its original 5:00 pm time slot.
