The Korean pop idol is set to perform in the Philippines for the first time as a soloist.
In a poster uploaded on Thursday, March 6, Kai of the all-male K-pop group EXO revealed the staging of his solo concert tour across Asia.
Titled ‘Kaion,’ included in the destinations that the 31-year-old singer-dancer will visit is the Philippines, where he is scheduled to perform on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
Although, at the moment, exact details like the ticket prices, buying process, and the seat map have not yet been shared by local organizers.
Aside from Manila, Kai is also set to bring the tour to other cities like Seoul — where he will kick off the series with a two-night concert in May, Kuala Lumpur, Macau, Jakarta, Singapore, and Taipei.
After the Philippine stop, he will present the tour to his fans in Bangkok, Yokohama, and Hong Kong.
Kai debuted as an idol back in 2012 as one of the 12 original members of K-pop group EXO, which is known for their songs like ‘Growl,’ ‘Monster,’ ‘Lotto,’ ‘Ko Ko Bop,’ ‘Love Shot,’ and ‘Obsession,’ among many others.
In 2020, he made his solo debut through the release the single ‘Mmmh,’ which was later followed by ‘Peaches’ in 2021 and ‘Rover’ in 2023.
Apart from those, he is also a member of SM Entertainment’s male supergroup SuperM, which has the tracks ‘Jopping’ and ‘Tiger Inside’ included in its discography.
Recently, Kai was discharged from South Korea’s mandatory military service, where he served as a social worker.
He is also reportedly preparing for his comeback, set to be released later this year.
