The following local government units have announced the temporary shift to other modalities due to the expected high temperature.
Due to high heat index forecasts on Monday, March 3, 2025, the local government units in the following cities, municipalities, or provinces have declared the suspension of face-to-face or in-person classes.
This means that learning facilities will continue to deliver their services through other methods, such as online and/or asynchronous classes.

These announcements come as the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) shared in its forecast that the heat index in the National Capital Region might reach 46°C on Monday.
However, the dry season, colloquially called as “summer” in the Philippines, has not yet been declared by the state weather bureau.
