He was recently appointed as the country’s celebrity tourism ambassador to South Korea.
South Korean actor and singer-songwriter Seo In Guk visited Boracay island in central Philippines, a few days after being designated the Philippines’ new celebrity Tourism Ambassador last February 21.
Over the weekend, the Department of Tourism (DOT) said that Seo “basked in the breathtaking beauty of the island that has made Boracay one of the world’s most popular island getaways.“
He also went to enjoy the early morning golf tee and the tourist-favorite crystal kayak activity along the shores of Station 1.
In the afternoon, he also boarded a yacht tour with his friends around the island, where he also had time to interact with his Filipino fans who spotted him roaming around.
Additionally, he also had a taste of the local cuisine, including the signature Filipino dishes sinigang and sisig.
He debuted as a singer in 2009 after winning the first season of the South Korean reality show ‘Superstar K.’
His then made his acting debut in 2012 in the drama series ‘Reply 1997,’ which was followed later on by his roles the hit drama series ‘Shopping King Louie’ and ‘Doom At Your Service.’
Soon, he will also be top billing the Netflix series ‘Boyfriend On Demand’ with Blackpink’s Jisoo.
