Authorities are currently investigating the cause.
On Sunday, February 16, news broke out in South Korea that actress Kim Sae-ron has passed away at the age of 24.
According to initial reports, Kim was found lifeless inside her home in Seoul by her friend, whom she had initially planned to meet, on Sunday afternoon.
As per attending police members, there are no signs of foul play at the moment, but they are still investigating circumstances of the death.
Kim Sae-ron began her career as a child actress through the 2009 film ‘A Brand New Life.’
She went on to star in TV dramas like ‘Listen to My Heart,’ ‘Fashion King,’ ‘I Need Romance,’ and the ‘The Queen’s Classroom,’ before getting casted as a lead actress for the series ‘Hi! School: Love On’ in 2014.
She also ventured into hosting, as she appeared as the emcee of MBC’s music chart program ‘Show! Music Core’ from 2015 to 2017.
She was last seen in the series ‘Bloodhounds’ in 2023 as Cha Hyun Joo.
