He is slated to debut with a K-pop group this year.
On Sunday, February 16, Filipino idol JL Gaspar met his fans in the metro as he staged his ‘Just Love’ fan gathering event at Robinsons Magnolia in Quezon City.
The said engagement marked JL’s first public event in the Philippines after his win in the South Korean survival-reality show ‘Universe League’ in January.
The program is the male counterpart of survival show ‘Universe Ticket,’ which formed the group UNIS — where Filipina idols Gehlee and Elisia are part of.
The Filipino musician ranked first in the finals, securing him a spot in the new group AHOF, along with fellow contestants Cha Woongki, Park Han, Steven, Zhang Shuaibo, Park Juwon, Seo Jeongwoo, Chih En, and Daisuke.
AHOF will debut sometime in 2025 under the label F&F Entertainment.
Gaspar, 20, is the youngest of six members of P-pop boy band PLUUS. The band debuted in the local scene back in March 2023 under the label SBTown.
The group has released songs like ‘Amigo,’ ‘My Time,’ and ‘Cross My Heart.’
