“If you like me, blink twice. Are you naughty or nice?”
That is a line from the song ‘Blink Twice,’ the newest single of P-pop girl group BINI, released on Thursday, February 13.
The song serves as BINI’s follow-up to their highly-successful English-language track ‘Cherry On Top,’ which was released in July 2024.
More than 60,000 fans tuned in to the 3-minute-long music video as it premiered on video-sharing platform YouTube at 9:00 pm (Philippine time).
In two days’ time, on Saturday, February 15, BINI will also take the stage at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan for the first stop of their ‘BINIverse World Tour.’
The said concert comes three months after their sold-out three-night ‘Grand Biniverse’ show at the Araneta Coliseum in November 2024.
Composed of Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena, BINI debuted in June 2021 with the song ‘Born To Win,’ and later released songs like ‘Golden Arrow,’ ‘Na Na Na,’ ‘Lagi,’ ‘I Feel Good,’ and ‘Karera.’
In early 2024, they garnered immense popularity, thanks to their successive hit songs ‘Pantropiko’ and ‘Salamin, Salamin,’ which dominated various streaming platforms.
