In a social media post, Korean pop superstar Sandara Park shared that she received a visitor on set of the upcoming TV5 survival reality program ‘Be The Next: 9 Dreamers,’ which she will be hosting.
The studio was graced by none other than blockbuster actor-host Alden Richards, who also previously met one of the program’s mentors, Park Woojin of AB6IX.
“Thank you for visiting us on the set, Alden,” Dara wrote with smiley and hand wave emojis.
“Nice meeting you,” she added.
Sandara Park made her debut in the Philippine showbusiness in 2004 after joining ‘Star Circle Quest,’ and eventually being paired with Hero Angeles for several projects.
After a two-year-long training, she became part of the quartet 2NE1 in 2009, known for their successive hit songs like ‘Fire,’ ‘I Don’t Care,’ ‘Go Away,’ ‘Lonely,’ ‘I Am The Best,’ ‘I Love You,’ ‘Falling In Love,’ and ‘Come Back Home,’ among others.
Recently, the band regrouped for a special reunion tour in celebration of their 15th anniversary titled ‘Welcome Back,’ which they brought to Manila last November.
Apart from Sandara, the panel is composed of EXO’s Chen, Momoland’s Hyebin, AB6IX’s Park Woo Jin, Bang Yedam, and HORI7ON’s Vinci Malizon will also be in ‘Be The 9.’
75 male contestants from around Asia will compete to become part of the 9-member boy group that will be formed by the end of the program’s run.
Korean choreographer Bae Wan Hee and producer Bullseye will also participate in the show as its dance mentors.
Meanwhile, Alden Richards is fresh from the billion-peso box-office hit ‘Hello, Love, Again’ with Kathryn Bernardo. The movie will soon hit streaming platform Netflix on February 13.
He also recently concluded the historical-family drama ‘Pulang Araw,’ where he portrayed the role of Eduardo dela Cruz.
