On Friday, January 31, Gelo Rivera of P-pop boy group BGYO uploaded a new selfie on X, formerly Twitter.
‘Kapitan,’ who was wearing a white tank top in the photo, immediately swooned netizens with his barefaced look.
As of writing, the photo has garnered over 1.4 million views on the platform, with over 23,000 likes.
Many netizens pointed out Gelo’s visuals, which has been the case for many of his viral moments in the past.
Going viral online is no stranger to the 23-year-old P-pop star.
In 2023, Gelo became famously known as that ‘2×2 guy’ when his photo made rounds on social media, with netizens praising his good looks that stopd out even in a photo that he submitted as a required document for his visa application.
That year, Gelo gained attention again during a ‘Showtime’ guesting in June 2023 for his “effortless visuals” that radiated through the screen.
Gelo, along with the rest of BGYO, debuted in January 2021 with their single titled ‘The Light.’
Since then, the group went on to release songs like ‘When I’m With You,’ ‘The Baddest,’ ‘Tumitigil Ang Mundo,’ ‘Bulalakaw,’ among others.
In 2024, the band dropped the singles ‘Patintero,’ ‘Gigil,’ ‘Trash,’ and ‘Andito Lang.’
