Blackpink’s Jisoo to release ‘Amortage’ in February

In a poster uploaded on her Instagram account, Korean singer Jisoo of popular girl group Blackpink teased the release of her solo album.

Titled ‘Amortage,’ it is scheduled to be dropped on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2025.

Aside from this, Jisoo was also revealed to have signed with Warner Records, as announced by the music label on their own social media page.

The Blackpink member also shared her feelings over this development, saying, “I’m excited about this new era and the continuation of my musical journey. I feel like I’m just getting started and I’d like to thank the BLINKs for all of their love and support.”

Jisoo debuted in 2016 as part of the third-generation K-pop group Blackpink, along with fellow members Jennie, Lisa, and Rosé.

They became well-known in their home country and abroad, thanks to their successive hit songs ‘Whistle,’ ‘Boombayah,’ ‘Playing with Fire,’ ‘As If It’s Your Last,’ ‘Ddu-du Ddu-du,’ ‘Kill This Love,’ ‘Lovesick Girls,’ ‘Pink Venom,’ and ‘Shut Down,’ among many others.

In 2023, she dropped the single album titled ‘Me,’ which featured the viral hit song ‘Flower.’

The following year, in 2024, she established her own label named Blissoo.

Aside from music, she also has an active career in acting, having starred as Eun Young Ro in ‘Snowdrop’ in 2021 and will soon be seen in the Prime Video series ‘Newtopia’ that will premiere on February 7.
