On X, formerly Twitter, Kapamilya actor Paulo Avelino shared a cryptic post to his 2.4 million followers on the social media platform.

He wrote: “Ma-experience nga na hindi tumapos ng pelikula,” coupled with a laughing emoji.

While he did not mention any names or projects, his fans were quick to allude this post to Avelino’s upcoming first movie with actress Kim Chiu.

Titled ‘My Love Will Make You Disappear,’ the film was initially slated to hit theaters last October 2024, before it was rescheduled to become a Valentine’s Day offering of Star Cinema this year.

A playdate of February 12, 2025 was announced by ABS-CBN during the ‘Shine Kapamilya’ Christmas special last December, with a teaser trailer released concurrently that time.

However, as the February premiere date neared, many ‘KimPau’ supporters noticed the lack of promotional activities for ‘MLWMYD’.

Although, in an report by ABS-CBN News this week, it was disclosed that Kim and Paulo are still in the process of shooting scenes for the said movie.

While waiting for further updates, a shocker came to many fans after an alleged screenshot of a poster, that was uploaded and eventually deleted by a cinema chain, went rounds.

There, it was revealed that ‘My Love’ will be premiering instead in April 2025, without prior notice on the main pages of Star Cinema.

This led to KimPau supporters seeking clarification from the production company, which has not yet issued any comment regarding the matter.

Within hours after the post, eagle-eyed netizens were also able to spot that not only Paulo, but also Kim, were not following the film studio’s Instagram account.

‘My Love Will Make You Disappear’ will mark the reunion of Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino, who topbilled in the top-rated series ‘Linlang’ back in 2023.

They went on to do a follow-up project, the successful Filipino adaptation of ‘What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim?’ that began streaming on Viu in March 2024.

‘MLWMYD’ is under the direction of Chad Vidanes.
