Sofronio Vasquez is part of the final five contestants of the 26th season of reality-singing competition of ‘The Voice’ in the United States.

Representing the team of his coach Michael Bublé, Vasquez is the first-ever Filipino contestant to land a spot in the finale of the show, which will happen on Tuesday, December 10 (Manila time).

On his personal page, Sofronio rallied support from fellow kababayans in the USA, as public voting for ‘The Voice’ contestants are only limited to country.

Lines are open until 5:00 pm on Monday, December 9 (Eastern time) in the United States.

Sofronio will be going against other finalists, namely Jeremy Beloate, Danny Joseph, Sydney Sterlace, and his fellow Team Bublé member Shye.

Prior to competing in ‘The Voice,’ Vasquez joined the second season of ‘Tawag Ng Tanghalan’ on noontime variety show ‘It’s Showtime,’ where he ended his journey in the semifinals that year.

He later returned on the ‘TNT’ stage for the special ‘Celebirty Champions’ season in 2019.
