The 24/7 news channel is shaking things up.

Starting Monday, November 2, ABS-CBN’s English-language news channel ANC will debut its new weekday programming grid.

According to a poster released by the news station, changes will be immediately felt in its morning block, as the 7:00 am edition of ‘Rundown’ was not included in the list.

Instead, ANC’s first live show will be ‘Headstart’ with Karen Davila at 8:00 am, which also regains its role as the leadoff program of the station’s daytime block — a position that it used to hold from 2010 until 2015.

Following the interview program, primetime business-centric newscast ‘Business Outlook’ will be relaunching as a morning program at 9:00 am, with anchors Ron Cruz and Salve Duplito still at helm of the show.

It will also continue to hold its primetime slot at 8:00 pm, albeit that will be used to rebroadcast that morning’s episode.

‘Outlook’ will be occupying the current time slot of ‘Market Edge’ with Michelle Ong, which in lieu of heralding the stock exchange’s opening bell, will soon be on the air as the market closes for the day at 3:00 pm.

‘ME,’ which has teased a new format omcet it moves to the later slot, will be replacing ‘Business Roadshow’ anchored by Stanley Palisada and Denice Dinsay.

Speaking of Dinsay, the long-running afternoon newscast ‘Top Story’ that she presents with Ron Cruz will also move to an earlier time starting Monday.

It will begin airing at 4:30 pm and run for 50 minutes until 5:20 pm.

At 5:30 pm, ANC will be carrying the simulcast of ‘TV Patrol Express’ with ABS-CBN’s Chief of Reporters Jeff Canoy and Denice Dinsay.

‘TVP Express,’ a spin-off of the Philippines’ longest-running Filipino-language newscast ‘TV Patrol,’ will continue to air over A2Z, ALLTV, Kapamilya Channel, and Jeepney TV.

Apart from that, news bulletin ‘ANC Headlines’ will also see its weekday editions at 10:00 am and 2:00 pm axed, with ‘News Patrol’ taking over the morning slot, with its second broadcast scheduled at 1:00 pm.

Despite these updates, noontime newscast ‘Dateline Philippines’ with Karmina Constantino and the channel’s flagship — Asia’s longest-running newscast ‘The World Tonight’ with Tony Velasquez and Pia Gutierrez all remain at their respective time slots at 12:00 noon and 9:00 pm.

Aside from the linear pay television platform, programs from the ABS-CBN News Channel can also be viewed live on the ANC Prestige paid subscription stream on YouTube.
