The Korean singer is finally back in Manila.
Korean musican Chen, member of K-pop group EXO, will be staging of his solo fan-concert tour titled ‘Beyond The Door’ in the Philippines this evening.
He is scheduled to hold his event on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City.
Before heading to Manila, Chen first visited other Asian cities, namely Taipei, Bangkok, and Kuala Lumpur.
‘Beyond The Door’ is the EXO member’s first show in the Philippines in over two years, as he last went to the country back in 2022 for joint concerts in Manila and Cebu.
Chen debuted as an idol back in 2012 as one of the 12 original members of K-pop group EXO, which is known for their songs like ‘Growl,’ ‘Monster,’ ‘Lotto,’ ‘Ko Ko Bop,’ ‘Love Shot,’ and ‘Obsession,’ among many others.
Apart from that, he is also part of the sub-unit EXO-CBX, together with Baekhyun and Xiumin.
In 2019, he launched his solo career through the release of the extended play ‘April, and a Flower,’ although he had already made solo music projects in the past — notably as a collaborator for the ‘Descendants of the Sun’ sound track ‘Everytime’ with Punch.
Currently, Chen’s solo activities are also managed by INB100, a company that also houses his fellow CBX members.
In May, he made his comeback with the extended play titled ‘Door,’ which carries the carrier single ‘Empty.’
