The much-anticipated Christmas ident is coming real soon.
On Friday, November 15, ABS-CBN shared the first teaser for its upcoming 2024 Christmas ID titled ‘Our Stories Shine This Christmas.’
In the 15-second-long video, the eight members of phenomenal P-pop girl group BINI were seen looking up at the lit up ELJ Building, where a Christmas tree was formed.
“Kikislap na,” the network teased the upcoming launch of the ident, which they have previously confirmed to be taking place on Monday, December 2, after the flagship primetime newscast ‘TV Patrol.’
Prior to the theme’s confirmation last weekend, several fan pages online have already disclosed some of the personalities that will be present in or will sing the jingle for ‘Our Stories Shine This Christmas,’ led by Vice Ganda, Piolo Pascual, and Bamboo.
A longstanding tradition of the network since its days as a broadcasting company, this year’s yuletide ident marks ABS-CBN’s fifth time to produce one under its current form as content powerhouse.
Since 2020, the Christmas ID (which was previously and still commonly regarded as a ‘station ID’) has been in use for the network’s digital and pay TV platforms that include the Kapamilya Channel and Kapamilya Online Live.
While the ABS-CBN indent is still weeks away, erstwhile rival station and current platform partner GMA has debuted its own Christmas Station ID, ‘Ganito Ang Paskong Pinoy, Puno Ng Pasasalamat’ last Monday, November 11.
Another partner station, TV5, is also due to launch their own seasonal ident on Monday, November 18.
