It will now happen in the capital city.

Through a social media post, organizers of the Waterbomb Manila music festival notified fans and spectators about a switch in the date and venue of the program.

Rather than taking place at the Metrowalk Ortigas in Pasig City on February 8 and 9, the festival will now be held at The Quirino Grandstand at Rizal Park, Luneta on the weekend of February 22 and 23, 2025.

“Rest assured, we are fully committed to ensuring the maximum safety and the best experience for you. Your safety and enjoyment are our top priorities,” said in the post.

They also expressed their apologies for any inconvenience the changes may have caused and said, “[we’re] doing our best to take your feedback into account.”

Additionally, Waterbomb Manila has also teased that they will be announcing participating acts before the end of November.

The recent Korean edition of the festival was staged from July 5 to 7, 2024 in Seoul to mark the start of this year’s summer season in the country.

The performers for that three-day event included the likes of SHINee’s Taemin and Minho, Mamamoo’s Hwasa, TWICE’s Nayeon, ASTRO’s Cha Eunwoo, Jay Park, Chungha, Kwon Eunbi, and K-pop groups P1Harmony and Kiss of Life.

Aside from Manila, the ‘Waterbomb Music Festival’ will also happen or have already taken place in other countries and cities like Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the United States of America (USA), as previously announced by the festival in a separate poster.
