The Boyz makes comeback with ‘Trigger’

The 11-member group is back with their new track.

On Monday, October 28, male Korean pop group THE BOYZ returned with their ninth extended play (EP) titled ‘Trigger.’

Alongside that, the official music video for the namesake lead single of the EP was also released. As of press time, it has garnered more than 2.5 million views on video-sharing platform YouTube.

This marks THE BOYZ’s first comeback in almost eight months, with their previous album being ‘Phantasy Pt. 3: Love Letter’ in March.

They have since went on to stage their ‘Zeneration II’ world tour to various countries, including the Philippines where it took place at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City last August.

Prior to which, they have also participated in the joint free ‘K-wave Music Festival’ event in Manila in May, joining K-pop group fromis_9 and P-pop acts PLUUS and YGIG.

THE BOYZ debuted in 2017 and consists of members Sangyeon, Jacob, Younghoon, Hyunjae, Juyeon, Kevin, New, Changmin (Q), Haknyeon, Sunwoo, and Eric.

Over the years, they have released songs like ‘Boy,’ ‘No Air,’ ‘Bloom Bloom,’ ‘DDD,’ ‘The Stealer,’ ‘Maverick,’ ‘Thrill Ride,’ ‘Whisper,’ ‘Roar,’ ‘Lip Gloss,’ and ‘Watch It.’
