The Philippine bet competed with 42 other delegates from around the world.
On Wednesday, October 16, The Miss Globe 2024 held its coronation night in the European capital city of Tirana, Albania.
There, the Philippines’ Jasmin Bungay proudly represented the country and finished the competition as the second runner-up.
Bungay, who won Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2024 just last July, champions her advocacy for the Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) — something that she reflected in her national costume, which has been dubbed the ‘Bituwing Marikit.’
Back to the competition, it was won by Colombian beauty queen Diana Moreno, followed by Thailand’s Peada Thansita Dilhokanansakul, German delegate Andromeda Schuster got third runner-up, with the Vietnamese contender Ha Trang Do named fourth runner-up.
So far, there have been two winners from the Philippines in the pageant that was established in 2004. They are Ann Colis in 2015 and Maureen Montagne in 2021.
Last year, the Philippines’ Anna Lakrini also placed second runner-up in The Miss Globe 2023 pageant held in Durres, Albania.
