Norwegian singer Peder Elias recently visited the Philippines for a couple of appearances and a meet-up with fans.

Through his personal Instagram account, the ‘Bonfire’ singer posted a series of photos of his experience in the country’s capital Manila, where he stayed from October 7 to 10.

In his first update, Peder toured around hangout spots in the business district of Bonifacio Global City (BGC) in Taguig and even posed with the popular local icon that is the traditional jeepney.

Following that, the singer did a media tour, which also included him meeting and greeting some fans who dropped by to see him in person.

And like many foreigners who have been to the country, a visit is not complete without trying out a popular local fast food chain, which Peder described as “so good.”

Meanwhile, back to his professional affairs in the Philippines, Peder also joined the event organized by music streaming app Spotify.

There, he was able to meet Filipino singers like Maki, who he even took a selfie with. The foreign singer also had a listen to ‘Dilaw,’ which he also regarded as a good song.

The 27-year-old musician from Norway made his debut as a soloist in 2018 and dropped his first album ‘Love and Loneliness’ four years later.

He is known for his songs like ‘Who I Am’ and ‘Bonfire,’ which became a popular song in South Korea and spawned covers from DAY6’s Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon, as well as a duet of Peder with Astro’s Cha Eunwoo.

Eunwoo, who has previously admitted to being a fan of Peder’s music, also recently collaborated with him anew for the single ‘Hey, Hello.’
