On Monday, October 7, Filipino model and actor Daumier ‘Dom’ Corilla was named Mister Global 2024 after the competition that took place in Thailand.
The 29-year-old, who is no stranger to international male pageants, bagged the Philippines’ first-ever title in the competition after trumping 30 delegates from other countries.
Spanish contender Manuel Romo took the first runner-up spot, while Nigeria’s Favour Ogbuokiri ended his stint as the second runner-up.
Prior to joining Mister Global, Corilla had already represented the Philippines in the past when he competed in Manhunt International 2020 and finished in top 20.
In 2023, Daumier tried his luck anew when he fought for the ‘Mister Philippines’ title, which was ultimately won by Mister Supranational 2024 Brandon Espiritu.
Corilla finished as one of the Top 6 candidates and was conferred the title Mister Pilipinas Global 2024.
Aside from Corilla and Espiritu, four other Mister Pilipinas finalists have yet to compete in various upcoming pageants.
They are Mister Pilipinas International Ambassador Justine Ong, Mister Pilipinas Manhunt International Jordan San Juan, Mister Pilipinas Cosmopolitan Emerson Gomez, and Mister Pilipinas Man of the Year Anthony Cunningham.
