In recent photos for magazine Vogue Korea in conjuction with a campaign of apparel brand Calvin Klein, Astro member Cha Eunwoo stunned fans with his masculine look.
The K-pop idol-actor did not only showcase his visuals, but also surprised everyone when he shared his sensual side in some images of the photoset, which were taken by photographer Mok Jeong Wook.
In one of the pictures, which Vogue Korea described as him slightly lifting a “chunky knit,” the 27-year-old superstar embodied the “the refined confidence and sensuality inherent in the Calvin Klein aesthetic.”
The said image caused a frenzy on social media, as it circulated in various fora like social networking platforms X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram.
Cha Eunwoo’s upload of the the pictures, as well as the behind-the-scene snaps, have since individually garnered more than 3 million likes on his personal Instagram page.
Eunwoo made his debut in 2016 as part of the group ASTRO, which is known for their songs like ‘Hide & Seek,’ ‘Breathless,’ ‘Confession,’ ‘Baby,’ ‘Crazy Sexy Cool,’ ‘All Night,’ ‘Knock,’ ‘ONE,’ ‘After Midnight,’ and ‘Candy Sugar Pop.’
He has also forged his own path in acting, having starred as the male lead in drama serials ‘My ID is Gangnam Beauty,’ ‘Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung,’ ‘True Beauty,’ ‘A Good Day To Be A Dog,’ and recently, in ‘Wonderful World.’
Last March, Cha Eunwoo made his solo music debut upon the release of his first album ‘Entity,’ which carries the title track ‘Stay.’
In September 2024, he was officially introduced as the newest ambassador of Calvin Klein for its Fall 2024 menswear collection, joining his fellow “97-liners” BTS’ Jungkook and SEVENTEEN’s Mingyu.
